Initial review…I just received this weed puller today…I must have pulled 200 mature dandelions…it was kinda fun. The design is great and highly functional pulling those sucker’s right out with the main taproot intact. There’s no question whatsoever about this tool that does what they say it’ll do…very easy on the body too.
Now, with that being said, here are my concerns…I wish the handle was possibly adjustable in length as I wish it were about 3-4 inches longer. I’m a little disappointed that so much of the tool is plastic. Over the years I’ve bought many Fiskers products and have been highly satisfied. This is the very first time I’ve bought o e of their tools and opened the box and immediately felt like this one was NOT going to live up to what I’ve expected from Fiskers…only time will tell. I will be using it a lot in the next few weeks, and if it fails during the return period… back it goes…as I saved the box.
Andy S –
Tool works great. Good for small quantities of dandelions.
Rick Hansen –
Arrived on time and as described. Extremely easy to use, does a complete job pulling out the weed by the roots. No more bending over to do a little extra digging and picking up the weed. Sure is a back saver. Would order again and would highly recommend.
Tavankit Singh –
Works really well on crabgrass! I could never manually pull the weeds without this! highly recommend!
Fred Masterjohn –
Great product! I was very skeptical. I¡¯ve seen a lot of tools for removing weeds in the past and I figured this will be another piece of junk. However, my godson was using it on his yard and I was amazed. I have 5 acres and I have a lot of weeds and this is a back saver for sure.

It does the job well on smaller weeds. Plastic seems weak. All metal would be better
Stephen Webber –
If you have crabgrass and it is well formed it plucks it up very easily. If dispersed it is difficult to grab.
I find that if I push it in the ground and the push forward as far as you can and then pull back as far as you can it works best.
Reviews 4 Parents –
Well-made, grabs about 3-4 inches into the ground to pull weed (along with the dirt), but definitely beats bending over and grabbing weeds all day. I recorded my review video while removing weeds, so it¡¯s easy enough it can be done with one hand!

Works as advertised and great for crabgrass.
chad plante –
Works fairly good in our cement Hard lawn. I am surprised at how light it is. Now to see if it holds up
Update: works like a dream in soft, previously filled garden areas which is where I plan on using this
Sharon –
My husband loves this to get weeds out of the yard.
Hankfard –
It takes some practice to master this device to properly get a dandelion complete with its tap root. It¡¯s not impossible and it is satisfying once you get used to it. However my wife tried and won¡¯t bother using it anymore. I have mostly gone back to liquid dandelion killer.

Almost makes me wish I had a bit more crab grass ¡ª almost!

This is the greatest garden tool..delivery was prompt and perfect! Love this tool saves the back and knees!
LAK1103 –
Works fine but pulls up too much dirt. Better alternatives out there.
Customer –
This weed puller works great. Using the leverage makes it so easy. The toughest of weeds come out easy even in hard ground.
Stephen –
This four claw weed puller does a pretty good job. My question about it is it¡¯s durability because it¡¯s very light and it¡¯s mainly made of plastic.
Joyful –
Back saving garden tool. This is wonderful for uprooting and removing dandelions and other pesky weeds. It also quickly removes seedling trees. I’ve even used next to our house foundation to address the long roots of tiny trees which had been cut down to the ground every year. I was able to leverage it with rocks, small clumps of concrete and maneuver it slowly where needed. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because the handle is fiberglass rather than wood or me’tal. I am careful not to over-exert pressure on the tool. It still performs better than any other plant removal tool we have ever used. It performs well regardless of user height. We have used it successfully for gardeners 5’2″ to 6′.
Dwain P. –
Works great! Wish we bought one years ago!
Warren C. Arnold –
Good quality product which is very useful as well as easy to use. Recommended
Liz Snyder –
This is awesome! Very easy – dare I say “fun”- to use! I filled up my big gorilla cart on the first go-round. With the release method, I can use it to toss the weeds straight into my cart without needing to handle them. I haven’t noticed any real grow back so it must be getting enough of the root. I have several other fiskar products and they are always high quality. Buying quality tools is always a good expenditure. I would 100% buy it again, tho I doubt that will ever be necessary.
donna –
Gave this to my sister for her birthday. She loves it!!
The Bugby –
never owned one of these before, but this was is pretty good. I wish the blades where a little studier, but for what it’s worth, it s pretty good
Hmmm –
I have a lawn that is more weeds than grass. I am stubborn stupid in my neighbors opinions because I don¡¯t want to use weed killers and fertilizers. We have a dead lake nearby that kills all people and animals that drink or get that water in their systems. I refuse to pretend the excessive use of fertilizers and chemicals is not the direct cause. Lots of farmers farming in area¡ I am trying to go at it in a way I am not part of that with my hard work and vinegar, salt, dish soap weed killer and pulling out what I can. Stubborn yes. The vining weeds I spray. I pull dandelions. This is good for dandelion. Only good because it doesn¡¯t clamp down hard enough to get the root out in one go a lot of the time. And I¡¯ve only used it for about a month but it¡¯s dulling a bit. It says you can take it in for free sharpening but I haven¡¯t looked up where yet. It is a wonder how much it helps shorten time pulling weeks but at the same time when it takes 4-5 try¡¯s to get the root out you make a huge hole in the lawn in the process. I was asked if we had mice. lol. No, it¡¯s just me!! Not sure if it can be made more effective. I will have blades sharpened. It is definitely worth the money for the use and amount of time it saves me vs digging it out with a screwdriver (don¡¯t know the actual tools name.) I would recommend this product. I am not certain how durable it will turn out to be. I have a lot of weeds. It will be tested thoroughly. As far as comfort goes, it¡¯s not uncomfortable to use, haven¡¯t had blisters or anything. So dulled already but it¡¯s used heavily.
Cara –
I can¡¯t say this enough¡ªbuy this weed puller! I chose this one over the other common brands because it pushes the weeds right off the claws, so you don¡¯t have to use your hands to remove stuck weeds.
It will leave a little hole where the weed came out, but honestly, who cares? You get the entire root out, which is what really matters. I bought this because my ferns kept escaping their designated area, and they¡¯re a pain to dig out by hand in the grass. This tool has been a total game changer¡ªso simple and effective!
Not having to bend down to clean the tool after every pull makes weeding way faster and easier. If you pull weeds regularly, this is a must-have. I 100% recommend it¡ªthey really nailed it with this one!

This really does work great on pulling out weeds as long as you center it directly over center of weed. Does leave a little hole in ground because it grabs a chunk of dirt but you can shake that off. Still best to do it a day or two after a good rain. My soil is hard clay so rain helps.
One thing that needs improvement however. It’s too short. I’m not tall, only 5’5 but this hurts my back with the constant bending to activate the release lever. If that lever was in a higher position it would sure save a persons back. If you only have a few weeds, I’m sure it’s no big deal. But if you are working a large yard and many weeds, it’s a back breaker. Needs a re-design there.

Build quality:
Been using this summer for the first time and it has been great!
blkdeath75 –
I bought this thinking I could take care of my yard. I have since become a dandelion farmer. Like the title says this tool is great if you got to do less than 10 weeds, but if your yard has decided to try and replace each blade of grass with an individual dandelion over the course of a week, you may want to look into other options. After about 30 minutes of using this, I filled about half a wheelbarrow. I could almost hear my yard laughing at me as if taunting me as everyone I pulled up two more seemed to spawn. Other than that it is a great tool and very easy to use only problem I saw is that the plastic ejector looks like it could wear out quickly and get in your way when you’re trying to push down on the weed but not a big deal. Four out of five for ease of use

Excellent product! Really makes removal of large weeds much easier. The long handle and eject feature saved my back from being sore and tight the next day . Highly recommend!

keep you from bending or on your knees in a wide open space
Sara R. Zuckman –
Mostly works. Does have some weeds that it really doesn¡¯t work on. Doesn¡¯t require an assembly. Quality built
Crazy Reader –
Love this thing. Sad to say- I have used it all over my yard. This is the second one I have owned though- the first one broke after too many uses.
Diana Ak –
Doesn’t remove all weeds easily.
Customer –
I love this tool. The only concern I have is it tends to pull the head of the weed up but does not get the full root system. Thanks, Sara
J. Johansson –
Unless you¡¯re lucky enough to have a teenager who got a D in math and needs gas money, you will want one of these! It is the best weeder if you¡¯re the one having to actually do the weeding. Start with a satisfying stab of the weed, tilt it back, and pull the weed out. Repeat for the other 327,843 dandelions in your yard. Or, do 20 or 30 and then contemplate a yard service while sipping a cold beverage. If still find you have neither the yard service nor the aforementioned teenager, you¡¯ll want one of these.
Chris R. –
Best weed puller I ever had! Happy with my investment
Kirk Cooper –
Super easy to use and gets the job done!!
Anthony Depalma –
This works great. It easily pulls weeds out with the roots. It has an ejector that shoots the weed into a bucket or wheel barrow. No bending over. I gave it 4 stars and not 5 stars because I have concern about some plastic parts might break. It is outstanding.
Jim Dunleavy –
One of the best garden tools I¡¯ve ever owned
Frank Punturieri –
Works well but sometimes if you don’t get the weed just right it doesn’t come out and doesn’t work in every weed. But the ejection feature is nice.
jgo –
After several times using to pull weeds in our yard noticed the silver pegs, (2) above the four claws, holding the release handle start backing out and it will not hold the weed after it is pulled. Tapped the pegs back in and works fine but should be a better design.
Rajesh –
Build quality is very bad. After few days of use tool claws were slipping and eventually mine broke. As there is lifetime warranty I have reached out to their customer service and didn¡¯t received a response. I will never buy this tool again.
Update- Fiskar company has sent me a new tool. Hopefully I will have luck with that.
DocCzekaj –
I just wish the spikes were a little bit longer so it could dig out deeper. There’s a few plants that make you feel like a claw machine where it’s a good grip and then you pull up and it slips out
Gunsnhorses –
This thing is an awesome weed puller. Can’t same enough good things. It sure saves the back during weed season.
Goo quality too.

First off, I want to say that I love this tool. I put this thing to WERK! My backyard is full of weeds and I’m about half way done. Which brings me to why it’s not getting 5 stars. I’ve only been using this tool for 3 weeks until it broke. The foot hold is made out of plastic. Once that breaks, the rest of it falls apart. Also the lifetime guarantee only applies to anything faulty. Wear and tear is not covered. Again the tool is fantastic and pulls the weed and the roots right out with ease. I couldn’t find a more durable version of this so I purchased another one after the first one broke. I just have to be easier on the foot hold.
juliet –
This tool is wonderful. It gets to the roots better than just my hands. My hands don¡¯t get dirty. I don¡¯t have to bend over/ kneel. Does a great job.

My wife is an expert and dedicated gardener. But she weeds with a small hand tool, while sitting on the ground. I don’t know if it’s comical or sad. Over the years I’ve suggested alternatives and she just tells me to bugger off. She’s quite British that way.
But I bought this thing – tried it out myself first — then she tried it. She’s actually using it, likes it, says it will save her a lot of time.
So why only 4 stars? Well… to my mind it could be a little better.
1) The blades could be a couple inches longer. Would improve grip and let you get to more deep,y rooted stuff.
2) There should be a foot pad on the opposite side of the lever arm. Would make it easier to stomp into the ground.
3j There needs to be a way to open the jaws a little bit wider than the release lever normally does. If you are weeding in even slightly rocky soil (and we are way past “slightly” at our place) and to dig out a stone, it can be hard to dislodge. I had one the size if my thumb that got stuck between the serrations. Careful use of a crowbar got it out, but not every gardener has one handy.
buyguy –
I generally love it, but it is prone to breaking due to plastic construction.
Jessica Phillips –
Fantastic tool, works like advertised. Did two wheel barrels full of weeds in an hour. Not ideal for the small weeds, but it gets the majority done so I don’t have to bend over and kill my back and knees.?
Dan Brewer –
Fiskar should just say “This tool is fun to use”! Really. I unboxed it today, walked out to the yard, picked a dandelion, centered the tool, stepped on the foot bar, leaned back a little, and out popped the dandelion. Then I swung the business end of the tool up over a bucket and flicked the ejector to drop said dandelion into the bucket. Easy peasy!
It does take out a sizeable divot every time you pull a weed, but otherwise this thing is great!
prima –
Just get it right now! Amazing!
David F. Murley –
This Fiskar weeder is a great tool especially for getting deep rooted weeds like dandelions. I was a bit disappointed that they have lightened up the constroction from my original I bought 10 years ago.
kathy Roohms –
Works well not bending over the flat plastic piece should be stranger didn’t break just be careful

Fishers 4-Claw
Just received the weed puller today. I had several large weeds in my lawn about four inch diameter I tried on them first no issues at all popped right out root and all very little bending or strain Works well on small weeds as well. Where you have groups of small weeds you might need to attack several times to remove all I don¡¯t know about build quality except that it looks well made.
It was a delight using this tool I¡¯m keeping my eye out for any new weeds that can now be removed very quickly and and easily saving my time and energy for better endeavors
Nang Bui –
Love it.
E. Nelson –
Doesn¡¯t really do well when weeds are small. It does well on large weeds though.
Tyler Gerstandt –
Works good, well built.
Jaqueline Biggs –
This tool works exactly like the directions indicate. It takes a few tries to find your groove when using it but I tell you this has saved my back, pulls the most stubborn weeds, and is very well made! Every gardener should have one!!
E.fleck –
I love the concept, and it mostly delivers. It is very simple to use, but it is not 100% effective. I wish it would work on smaller weeds, but it doesn¡¯t quite grasp onto the smaller roots. However, it cuts down the bending/kneeling down enormously! I wish I had this when I was pregnant! I like the pulley function that releases the weed once it comes up. Overall a good purchase, a few little things that are just annoyances, but I¡¯d recommend.
Ben –
Edited: Discovered it can get a small pebble jammed inside that causes the side jaws to stop closing. Working again, but seems overly complex. Works well in soft, wet soil.
—–
Disappointed. Broke after pulling about 30-40 weeds. Jaws will no longer close. Heard a snap and it was broken. It worked ok on pulling chicory weeds until it failed.
Snowman –
I was impressed on how well the item grabbed the weeds and both pulled them due to the great leverage it allowed. Problem is that after about 1.5 months it cracked on the foot lever and around where the teeth are at. Due to these cracks it has been rendered unusable.
Lew –
Works very well, particularly for an old person trying to get deeply rooted weeds or other plants. I like it, easy to get used to. It seems to be well made.
Lt. Jim –
FISKERS stands behind its products. I used this one for a year, pulling thousands and dandelions, and then it malfunctioned. I sent a photo to the company, and they sent me a new one. I always look for Fisker’s garden tools first; they are of high quality.
Farmer Lady –
It works great as long as the ground is dry.

I love my weed puller. I was able to get the stickers out of my yard without getting on my hands and knees and pulling them.

My sister’s favorite yard tool. No stooping or bending required.
Nancy –
This one is a keeper for sure.
My neighbor was trying to explain this tool to me in the past. Finally a few weeks ago she brought over one which a relative had loaned her. She showed me how it worked. I have a lot of tools for a senior woman and I hesitated buying another one. This is very unique and maybe it has been around for a long time but this summer was my first knowing about it. I used it last night for the first time. I have a huge crop of Canada thistle which has become my enemy of my flower beds. This stand up weeder took care of many of them very quickly. I still haven’t finished but I will soon. I will be 74 in a couple of weeks and I have a bad back and I am not tall. I will say that there is still a little stooping over that you have to do but it wasn’t a lot. I am not sure if they could even feasibly make this longer but I am curious if that is possible. That would be the only thing I would wish for in this tool. It does just as some of the videos have shown. It grabs those dandelions and thistles up by there roots and with one more push on the tool and voila you have ejected the weed, root and all. This could be considered a fun tool. I know who has fun weeding, right? I would definitely recommend this for those weeds that have long roots. The price appears to be a bit lower than when I purchased it so I would definitely recommend buying this tool.
Phillip Russell –
A really solid tool. Easy to use. Very happy except for the lnob on top to dislodge dirt. It continually falls off due to vibration. Gluing it doesn’t help.
J. Carter –
Works great & a lot easier on the back!!
Gail Lester –
Works great for removing dandelions. Two teenagers came to our house and cleared the pesky dandelions from our yard to earn money to go to youth camp. I can see how this tool would be handy for enterprising young people to earn $$ by clearing their neighbors dandelions in the spring.
Ross –
This really helped with the digging up of weeds
salmongirl –
Works great keep me from bending over
Orianna J. –
Most of it is metal which is great for strength and repeated use, but the part you push down on to get into the dirt is plastic. That concerns me because repeated use or a very hard push will break it. My last one broke which was a competitor because of the force I had to use to get the tool out of the ground with the handle. I will update the review if/when it breaks.
Rosario Vera –
Magnificent use! No much of effort ti pull out nasty weeds!
Cruzr –
I chose the 3 prong version and it works very well. However, if I have to order another I will get the 4 prong version to handle the more stubborn/bigger weeds. I highly recommend either version!
Woman looking for value –
When it arrived, I was skeptical. It is a lightweight plastic tool. After some serious weed removal over two weeks, I can report that it lifts out long-rooted weeds with ease. I can operate it for hours without wearing out. Love it.
Paul N6KZW –
I thought it was a little expensive, but it works so much better than the cheap one I had in the past.
Doris Ranke –
if you have weeds in your lawn and a weak back, too, then you might want to try this product! It was fun doing it too!
Denny –
Love it, it does the job
Elly More –
Extremely easy to use
Lightweight and effective Eliminates back bending work !
robert c. –
Work great on surface weeds 2 to 5 inches deep, not so good for deeper roots or long center root.
James Erickson –
Works quite well. Only complaint is we bought new and received used. There was dirt and plant material still on the claws¡
LazyShopper –
Sometime it doesn’t pick out the small weed because it can’t get a grip on it
Customer –
Please enjoy some honest video commentary! Initially I¡¯m very impressed with this product. It¡¯s so satisfying and easy to use. And it seems pretty strong/sturdy and some of my weeds I have to YANK. (So don¡¯t know how long it will hold up). Deducting one star because it doesn¡¯t work well on weeds in gravel and we have a ton of gravel.
S. Cooper –
Worth every penny! This takes all the frustration of weeding out of the picture. Easy to use, and no leaning over. We love it so much, we’re getting a second one!!
Christian Vornheder –
Buy this weed puller!! What used to take 5 minutes now takes 5 seconds. It doesn¡¯t work well in rocky areas, but everywhere else it performs like a rock star!!

I like that it was easy to use. Only had a problem when the ground was hard. It works better after a rain, or if the ground is looser. I would buy it again.

This tool works great for pulling weeds. It¡¯s sturdy, easy to use, and saves a lot of time compared to doing it by hand. Definitely makes yard work easier.

Purchased to remove Florida “snow flower” weeds. The claws, maybe half to time, grab the tap roots but the other times it doesn’t so I know I will have to go over the snow flower weeds and try again later.
Arkansas Traveler –
The stand-up weed puller easily pulls up most weeds. It is not much good with weeds that have runners, such as dollar weed. Anything with a central tap root comes up easily. Be aware of the dimensions of the blades that extract the weed because that is how big the hole left in the lawn will be.
Ashley Weitekamp –
90% of the time, the whole weed comes up. Overall works well.
David Murray –
I’m not usually driven to write reviews on yard tools but baby where have you been all my life! Simply put, this thing works. Where I come from we’re known for three things. Dirt, mosquitos and weeds! This gives me a leg up on the later without a doubt. I don’t have a garden or grass, I have a hardscape, all rocks. 3 different kinds of landscaping rocks. 5 months I have 3 ft of snow, 7 months its weeds gone wild. This lil beauty works right on my rocks and gets deep enough to pull out most weeds by the root. Those angry little nasty ones may take a few tries and occasionally a clump of rocks sticks the eject mechanism, but like a Timex, takes a licking and keeps on ticking. I wanted to share the joy of weeding so much I ordered two. Now I can sit in the shade, enjoy a cold beverage and watch the kids enjoying my new favorite tool!
Dude –
Wife thinks it¡¯s cool. Great trick to get her to weed the flower beds. Not just another useless garden gadget.
E Hilleman –
Over the past several years, I’m finding it more difficult to get down on my hands and knees. I thought I’d try this tool and I am so glad I did. It does a really good job of pulling up the weeds. Once the weed is pulled, you push on the cylinder and the weed is ejected. The only downside is that it grabs a chunk of soil with the weed, so I bend down and shake off the soil before I throw the weed away. Despite this, I love this tool, as it saves me from getting down on my hands and knees.
Lola A. (Bilikis) –
This tool is awesome and built solidly. Very impressed with the quality.

It works great on single weeds¡ª for vine like weeds, you need to try to find the main stem. Couldn¡¯t believe how simple and effective this tool is. Genius!

I could not believe how well this tool works for pulling out dandelions
Rose Cadayday –
This is so fun and easy to use. I love using it to pull weeds, and it’s neither too heavy nor too flimsy. Great built quality. Removes the weed from the root. Worth the money
Stephanie W –
Sometimes it¡¯s hard to shove it down right to get the parts to close, but once it¡¯s in- it really rips it all out

The product works as stated. A drawback was handle is about 6 inches to short to eliminate the stress of bending over in my back. I hoped this would eliminate that to my back but I still have to bend over quite a bit when using. It is good quality. You cannot use it with pulling weeds between crack in walkways, pavers or bricks.
Bill –
easy to use, and works good.
Customer –
Works great, easy to use, sturdy product!
Ann Dayton –
This was one investment that was well worth it. I have clay for dirt, so that can be tricky to work with, but overall I would highly recommend!
Raduam Alvarez –
Una exelente herramienta
Linda S. Woodson –
What I expected
Customer –
Works as advertised, easy to use, good quality.
Paula Chew –
Better than pulling weeds by hand.
slwallace –
Itdoes work as described. I live in an area where the dirt is clay and it clings to the reader and you have to manually take the clay out, but otherwise it does a good job with the weeds.
Melissa R –
The weeder works well and helps get weeds out by the root without having to be bent over or on the ground.
Mr Moto –
A tool easily worth the money!
Foy Matthews Crary –
I love the yard tool!
Deborah –
This is a very useful tool for weeding. Definitely worth it!
Mark Kelly –
What a great idea! It works great!
Adriana Bate –
This is wonderful for getting out that crabgrass. It¡¯s one of the immutable laws of the universe that the only way to get rid of crabgrass is just to pull out those so-and-sos. I hate those nasty things
This really works and gets them out of the ground. Note that in my part of the country the soil is heavy and clayey so I do need to spend some time clearing the muddy earth out of the tool from time to time but hey, I don¡¯t have to be bending over and that¡¯s a trade off I¡¯m happy to make.
Scott Stowell –
Why didn¡¯t I buy this a long time ago? This weed puller is so much easier than using your legs and back for every weed that needs to be removed from your yard.

It works wonderfully!!
JJA –
This is the second one I¡¯ve purchased. My son borrowed mine and loved using it. Other people have purchased one after seeing mine work. Takes the whole root cluster out.
Rick Miller –
Works great, very satisfying to use.
Annette N. –
I have always been a HUGE Fiskar¡¯s fan but i absolutely LOVE this weed removal tool! It is easy to use and already assembled. You can easy grab 3-5 small weeds at a time before emptying.

Dori S. –
This garden tool works pretty well. It pulls dandelions great , one of the hardest weeds to pull . The only downfall is when the ground is wet the mud on roots sticks on tool and you have to pull off and fingers get muddy .
No big deal , i guess don¡¯t weed with wet ground . Otherwise great tool
Customer –
This thing is AMAZING!!!! BUY IT!!!!!! I let my neighbor try it and she couldn’t believe how great it worked. She purchased her own the same day!
Erik Z –
Amazing tool a super easy to use. Even my kid was able to grab it and pull weeds. Makes pulling weeds fun.
Allie –
My husband was extremely pleased with the weed puller!
Andrew –
Best weeder in the game and customer support is next level. You don¡¯t find small business like this much anymore.
Jean Burbo –
Best garden tool I ever bought. Makes weeding a breeze. I showed my friends, and they all bought one as well.
Sara D –
So good that I bought another and gave one to my daughter-in-law. Effortless weeding.
Tina and Curt –
Works great amazing
Jon –
Easy to use and effective!
Gail L. –
Made things so much easier. Very happy!
Sean –
It works well, it’s just a very short stick that forces me to lean over. I’d say if you’re over 6ft get another version of this tool
Customer –
Works best on reasonably soft ground. Extension is not meant to be used as a step to force into hard ground, only as a lever for removing weed. However overall the unit works very well, including the weed ejector.
Satisfied customer. –
Love Grandpa¡¯s weeded. Does as advertised. Makes it a lot easier getting the weeds out of my garden. No bending over.
Jesse Adkins –
Why did you pick this product vs others?:
I added this to my yard work collection based off of reviews. If it were to break, I have a warranty!
Rosa –
Easy and simple to use. Gets the job done.
Customer –
Love this thing!!!!!!! It definitely works as directed and well made. I¡¯m a lil obsessed¡. Did my yard, then both neighbors got some weeding completed too!!! Very easy to use. If you missed the weed then it wasn¡¯t set right over middle of weed. If you use exactly as described you¡¯ll be weeding every damn thing you can find in yard. Definitely would recommend!!!!

Have gifted several garden tools for my yard obsessed Dad. Only two, of oh so many, have been deemed top tier and this is one of them. >>Long handle, thicker like they use to be. Weed claw works really well and the hoe side has more of a blade than just a straight edge; it’s cutout makes it easier to churn and hoe (whatever that means- you yard & garden buffs know, I’m sure). Also, since the hoe and claw are smaller, it’s lighter weight, easier to control and easier to remove specifically what you want without disturbing the area around it.<< So there you go. The sweetest ‘Yard Daddyever has spoken (or more so, has been paraphrased).

Great product!! Must buy for every homeowner. Have been researching a weeding tool for months and Grandpa Weeder is the best. Has a nice balance works and is sturdy. So easy to use for myself and my 75 year old mother. No more hurt backs!! Perfect length. Pulls large and small weeds with easy. I have not experienced any difficulty with pulling weeds.
ElectronicsTech –
Works well for large weeds, especially isolated ones. Doesn¡¯t work for small or skinny weeds like Nutsedge. Leaves unsightly divots in dense lawns. That being said, it¡¯s unbeatable for large weeds. It¡¯s fast, convenient and effective. I tried other similar weeding tools but this one is hands down the best.
JSOLO –
This thing work to get those deep rooted weeds and crab grasses from the garden with ease!
Placeholder –
Great at pulling weeds. I’ve been using it to pull out those pesky crabgrass clumps that seem to come alive this time of year. Then I smooth out the hole, add some topsoil and grass seed.
Alonso Salinas –
Works as it should! Definitely a must have if you deal with a lot of weeds. A better solution was getting a grass friendly weed killer tho
BRUCE –
Works exactly as described. Simple highly effective design. It was a birthday gift for my 85 year old friend and he said it works great and it¡¯s easy to use. His weeds are taking a beating. No assembly required.
PMon –
Good tool for the money. It works well with young weeds with minimal dirt removal. It does not pull thick (older) weeds. I would suggest a longer handle though.
chikachikawowwow –
You need this in your garden tool arsenal. Takes a bit of practice, but the 11 yo figured out how to pop the dandelions out by the root
dB –
Pulls weeds very well.
Andy –
Works perfectly, even in gravel or crushed stone
Mrs. III –
Works great just like described no bending, etc.
Kindle Customer –
Using this in my garden today took out around 70% of bending over. It was so helpful and I’ve recommended it to several people in my family.
Rich Serino –
Works well.
Tom Scott –
First time using and worked well, helped that the soil was wet from a recent rain.
ki –
This is amazing!!!!! I highly recommend!!! It is great to get down deep and pull out weeds! The quality is amazing, very sturdy!
justme –
This product is very well made so I am sure it will last for years. i didn’t notice a big advantage over other weed removal methods. It doesn’t work well on crab grass which was my main reason for purchasing it.
SpiderVenom –
My landlord bought me this weed puller. When I pulled it out of the box, I immediately thought it would be worthless. I was definitely wrong about that, this thing is absolutely amazing and super simple to use. I saw one reviewer who stated that it would be dangerous for a woman to use… That is completely untrue!
Seriously, give this weed puller a try, it is amazing at pulling out the entire root, including tap roots.
Chris Wyrick –
A good idea but not as easy to use as I thought it would be.
Consumer –
Who wants to bend over and pick weeds? I¡¯m old. That¡¯s why I bought it. Works like a charm once you develop a technique. Don¡¯t rush it. It¡¯s a tool. Use the tool and save yourself time and effort
Allen Markiewicz –
Great to remove larger weeds with little effort
Jerry Lopez –
It works!
That other guy –
Works as intended.
Gabriel –
Surpassed my expectations. I work in a coffee farm, and have been using this tool for a month to remove a kind of grass that has very deep roots. Both sides of the tool (hoe and fork), make removing this grass and other type of weeds an easy job. Durability and quality seem solid so far, except for the end of the plastic handle, which can come off when you use the tool to pull. Fixed this by applying lock-tite.
Rachael –
Works excellent! Saves me from bending down and pulling weeds.
Cindy Jackman –
It does exactly what it says it does! My husband loves it!!!
Carla –
Love this tool!!!! Don¡¯t have to get on my hands and knees, to pull up pesky weeds!
nancy –
Greatest ever. Easy and fun to use.
Evie –
It really works standing up. Easy to use for this 70+ old woman.
BRaymond –
Pulling weeds with this tool is very simple and a person with medical back problems eliminates having to bend over or having to get on your knees in order to pull weeds. No more having to use a garden hoe to combat weeds.
Taylor Cook –
Very good product, easy to use!
Artist Eye –
I love this weeder! It really takes the hard work out of pulling weeds, especially the deeply rooted ones. Easy to use, high quality & very durable. Highly recommend!
Heidi S. –
Best weed puller on the market. It really works! Buy it; you won’t regret it!
Bubba –
Great product saves your back and pulls the weed in one try. With this tool you can pull multiple weeds in seconds

Super facir de usar y excelente para remover cualquier tipo de hierba.
Ann Marchegiano –
Works great. He loved it for pulling up weeds. Very sturdy.
Vicki S. –
Easy to use and it work’s
GrimDog –
Awesome product! Everyone needs one of these Grandpa Weeders
Adam –
Terrific – great upgrade from the “Grandpa’s weeder” I had bought previously for a similar price. No major complaints – it does still pull up a lot of soil with the plant and is overkill for small young weeds, but in my experience so far that might be unavoidable for these tools – just be aware if you intend to use in a lawn.
RCMini –
Well built , works well. Definitely one of the better ones.
Trapper –
It works as designed and really saves on the back. Great purchase..
Hube –
We live on 10 heavily landscaped acres. I¡¯m tired of kneeling and have tried other weeding tools only to return them. This one gets to stay. Works.

Suzi –
I love it. It works better than I expected. My lawn maintenance guy recommended it, he uses one at his home. I¡¯m not at all disappointed.
Laura Kimble –
I love this thing !!! Makes pulling weeds a breeze
Amanda –
This tool is amazing. So much easier on your back. It even gets the roots out. I would highly recommend this weed puller.
Anne W. Stack –
Great garden tool. I opted for this one over a cheaper version since the handle was wood and one piece. My husband loves that he doesn’t have to bend over to pull the weeds. Easy to use. It will last foryears!
J A –
Only purchased because mine died. This product is a back-saver for weeding in the yard and works well.
Customer –
Works great for weeds!
Even got the wife to pull a few with it and have fun!
Mary F Bivins –
Sturdy, all metal. I had broke another company’s, all plastic. Happy!!!!
Ferret Lover –
This works really good!! Very pleased!!
john bettiker –
Very easy on my older back, works as advertised with one exception it did not pull entire root out, so the crab grass is going to grow back, if that makes a larger problem then it¡¯s not worth it. My yard for the time being looks a lot better though.
merle lynne –
I don’t normally write reviews, however, this is the greatest tool ever! Highly recommend! Works incredibly well and with ease!
Outside lady –
Great item – wish I knew about it sooner. Especially like the feature of how the weed is removed once in the tool.
Jojomac –
Works like a charm!
Karl Pieragostini –
Works as advertised.
stargazer –
Great tool. Works exactly as advertised.
Christine Mroczek –
Super easy. Works great!
Customer –
This tool is AMAZING! We had someone replant some grass in our back yard and the seed that they used must have had more weeds than grass seed in it. This tool works just like they say, very easy and gets really deep. I bought one of those knock offs last year on facebook (stupid me) and it didn’t even come with a handle, once I put a handle on it the thing broke the first time I used it. Absolutely love this tool!
Annie fanny –
Holy smokes!!!! Wish I found this tool years ago. Works great . No more weeds or bending down.
DLW –
Once I learned how to use this Weeder, it worked seamlessly. I highly recommend that you look at the video illustration before using it for the first time. I¡¯m older with a cranky back. This tool helps with my weeding without back pain.
Joe McCleland –
have used it once and works well. I wish it was a little bigger for bigger weeds.

Roger D. Willard –
It worked for me
jeanine molloy –
So much grab grass this year
This product works exactly as advertised .
Mari –
Exactly as described
Olivia –
I can confidently say this tool far exceeded my expectations. At 39″ long, the handle is the perfect height. I¡¯m 5¡¯6″, and I can use it comfortably without bending, which makes a huge difference during long weeding sessions. It feels sturdy but not heavy, which makes it easy to maneuver. To use it, you simply press the claws into the ground around the weed, tilt the handle back, and pull. The four sharp stainless steel claws grab onto the roots surprisingly well. Best of all, you don¡¯t even have to touch the weed afterward, the orange slider ejects the weed cleanly with a simple push, and it rarely jams. This tool works best on open lawns or soil where you have room to step down with it. In tighter garden beds or around delicate plants, I still reach for my hand tools. One thing to note: since it pulls the weed roots out along with a chunk of soil, you¡¯re left with a small hole. It¡¯s nothing major, but worth mentioning if you¡¯re particular about having a perfectly smooth lawn.
tawatchai puntmek –
I like it
Scooter07 –
Definitely works well!
CAT –
Works well on crab grass and other weeds and constructed with durability
Cathy Chapman –
Made weeding less stressful on the knees.
Georgie –
I immediately tried it. It saved me days of pulling weeds, especially those that form a round circle. A suggestion on use. Find the center point of the weed in the ground. Push the 4 prongs slightly into the ground. Pull the yellow release lever back. Rock slightly backwards and use your foot and body weight to push forward down into the ground to get the max pull. Then lean back and pull up the damn weed. Absolutely easy – and with the release of the weed into a pail – no ticks on me!
Jim Henry –
Works as promised.
Customer –
This tool is fantastic! Best tool for pulling up weeds I have ever used! No kneeling or bending over needed. If you have tough weeds to get out, use Grandpa’s Weeder. You won’t regret it.
Nooblld –
Works great. Pulls weed up including root. Wish I¡¯d bought this earlier. Saves your back
Kevin Mac –
Works exactly as advertised and dare I say it – it makes fighting dandelions fun!
MK –
So easy.. works great!
KristineG –
Love working outside in my yard. Really love when it doesn¡¯t hurt my back. Easy to use and even easier on my body! Made weed pulling satisfying! Quality of tool was great!
Cathy –
Works great ..makes weeding so much easier
Judy –
Finally got this to remove those pesky weeds from everywhere! It works like magic.
Rebuff –
I love it! Accidentally let my garden get overrun with weeds. I almost gave up on it, instead, I seen this! And it saved my back and my garden! Would highly recommend!
Deb h. –
Works real good !!! If you have back issues you still have to lean so after a few times your back will hurt
Taylor –
Love it
Larry J. Worley –
So glad I bought it! Don¡¯t need to bend down to pull weeds, very useful and light weight, served its purpose.
Larry J. Worley –
So glad I bought it! Don¡¯t need to bend down to pull weeds, very useful and light weight, served its purpose.
Paul Mastin –
Works quite well if your soil is well melded, free from bark and mulch. I love not having to bend over.
Lisa A. Fox –
Really hoped I could use it in our rock landscaping but no such luck. My husband loves it in the yard though.
heliobam –
works pretty well depending on weed size. You do have to manually pull the weed off of the gadget as it does not have an ejector handle. But for me that didn’t matter much
Linda McKnight –
The item was not cushioned in the box. It was too long for the box & a hole was made in the end of the box so it would fit! It took 15 minutes with knife & scissors to undo it & cut the box open. Product was not damaged.
S –
This tool pulls up a huge chunk of healthy grass and sod along with the weed itself. You end up having to bend down to pack the soil back in. I’ve gone back to using mostly my small hand tool to avoid making such large gouges in the turf.
Katrina Czyrba –
This product works great! It definitely gets the weeds without you having to strain your back and be on your knees all day. However, it¡¯s really hard to get the weeds out of the device once they are picked. You do need another tool to scrape the weed out of the weed picker and into the garbage.
Dave Wallick –
Good tool, easy to use, and works nicely – on dry ground. A pain to use, though, on wet ground, where the dirt clumps up in the pincers and requires hand cleaning to perform. Save these for use a couple of days after the rain has fallen. They work remarkably well then.
Customer –
Works great I had to pull hundreds of weeds this works very well. Definitely much easier than pulling weeds by hand or using one of those small handheld weed pullers
Gabriel Campbell –
Wonderfull tool for standing upright or kneeling (adjustable lengths) for pulling and disloding weeds, and breaking up dirt, sod, compost, etc. Can be used for bulb planting as well. I use it for loosening compacted dirt in flowerbed and yard. Compost, mulch almost any type of medium you could have. The handle is extremely strong and you can apply an enourmous amount of pressure without bending the handle.
The only issue I had was the screw together grooves didn’t exactly match up. However, they were close enough that I forced them together which took a great amount of strength. It might actually be stronger now than if properly matched up. I don’t intend to use it other than when standing up.
— this is the only reason I’m giving it a 4 start rating.
Owen Parker –
Easily pulls weeds. Handle is a nice length when standing during use. Handle can be easily unscrewed if you want a shorter handle. I bought 2, one for the front yard and one for the backyard. It is a good value for the money.
SharO –
Works great, removes weeds root and all easily.
Isaiah Evans –
I like the fact that it has a dual purpose and that it extends.
Kevin M. –
You can stand to pull weeds. Does not get the entire root. Hard to release once pulled.
Thomas Edwards –
Ha sido útil , por la maniobrabilidad en su uso.
Frequent Buyer –
Good for removing weeds. It’s made well. It saves your back. Dirt and weeds can get stuck in the “claw” so you have to stop occasionally to get it out. It is so much faster than pulling them by hand. Good purchase.
Nemets –
follow the very simple instructions and it will work great with minimal effort. there is no adjust ability, works better on thicker weeds than thinner ones. if using in an area that is stone such as a driveway, try to clear away some of the stones before jamming the tool around the weed that needs pulled
Erik Wong –
I have an absurd amount of large dandelions in my yard. This thing has been a beast. There is no way I would have been able to pull up this many without this tool. Highly recommend
Angie Lahey –
It works super..I wish it had a bigger head to grab bigger weeds. It works perfectly..
nd –
tool is effective ….but you constantly have to pry weed out after pulling it.
Customer –
Very good, but a little bit inconvenient to use.
ruina du –
This tool makes pulling most weeds super easy and saves my back. The long handle and eject mechanism work well. However, some tougher plants still need to be pulled by hand. Overall, a great helper for the garden
K. Calhoun –
I saw the same exact one much cheaper.
Lauren –
It¡¯s addicting and works great! I keep a bowl next to me when I use this. The empty holes are camouflaged after watering yard. I have mixed soil in my yard, so it does not work with sandy, hard or rocky areas. Overall, my yard looks so much better and more green!
Matthew Geertson –
Works well, picks up weeds and roots. Larger weeds are easier to pull out of the ground. Smaller weeds need more precision when placing the tool in the ground. Product is well made and I would recommend.
Sarah Kosmicki –
Hit or miss. This does pull out some large weeds but doesn’t do as well on small ones. I also struggled with it pulling impacted dirt and getting stuck in the tool and working pretty hard to clear it each time. If you are weeding in a mulch bed you need to clear it away from the weed first so the tool can go as deep into the ground as possible.
Samantha Parks –
Works well and is comfortable to use
Customer –
Worked perfectly first time out of the box. Does a great job on isolated rooted weeds.
Loizaida De Jesus –
This product is so good for taking out weeds, no need for extra products like gloves. super easy and fun to use.
Howard Roberts –
Simple design and well built. This tool works very well for weeds with a central root. Extracts and picks up without bending over. It is less effective on a more diverse weed (bermuda grass for example).
missy0655 –
Got tired of being on my hands and knees to pull weeds from my lawn. This works great and very easy to use.
Customer –
Love it! Very easy to use! Purchased one for my elderly mother who loves being in her garden.
Ronda Buck –
It takes some skill to get used to using. It doesn’t work well on large weeds. Or maybe I just need more practice!
Artsy1515 –
My mom was looking for an easy way to do weeding instead of kneeling on a pad while doing it and wanted to give this item a try.
I was skeptical of it being as good as advertised, but it was. Worked on
large and small weeds. Hardest part was getting it centered on the
weed. Does a really good job. I bought it because it was getting
harder and harder to get down on the ground to weed. Would highly
recommend it. Decent price for when it was on sale.
Gary S. –
This was ok. I used it a couple of times and found it a bit odd. You don¡¯t step down on the bar that comes out the side to close the ¡°claws,¡± but it¡¯s almost as if you have to put your foot underneath the bar that sticks out. The best way to describe this is that it¡¯s very counterintuitive. I mean, again, it¡¯s ok, but¡
Oliver –
If you have weeds you should have this wonderful tool! The tool itself allows you to dig up or cut/chop the weeds and loosen the dirt. The handle is multifunctional. No more getting on your knees if you use the full extension. Otherwise, you can break the handle down to whatever comfort level you need, which will save you from hurting your back. Great invention!
DMV –
Doesn¡¯t go quite as deep and if using in mulch bed, the pincher piece has to be cleaned, continually clogged
Yadilka Maldonado –
Very practical and useful tool. Works better when the soil is dry otherwise you’ll have to remove some of the stuff by hand before using it to pull the next weed. In my area soil is like mud.
Joseph A –
It works well on dry or normal conditions, in damp ground not so well but its GOOod I bought the Wooden handle for hte look and i like it !
Thomas –
Ground is to hard for it to go in
Deborah –
Got this as a gift for my husband for Father¡¯s Day. Makes it so much easier to remove weeds when you don¡¯t have to bend over and pull them out of the ground. My husband does a lot of the weeding and he likes this device.
Bill –
Really works! Stop bending over or getting on your knees to pull dandelions!!
Linda –
Works on smaller weeds. packaging could have been better. the handle poked through the box. Delivered on time.
J… –
Needs pretty good balance to be safe.
Mary –
Cuts the bending and standing needed when weeding by about 80%. It really does get the weed all the way through the root. It’s a little bit difficult to get the weed out of the claw once out of the ground but that’s only gets irritating when I’m going after a lot at a time. I should mention I am practically 100% sand.
D Photodude –
I was not expecting great things. I was expecting to be able to pull the little guys out, curse, then take a shovel to the ‘real’ weeds. This tool is a workhorse. I mean, all I can say is WOW. Unfortunately, the photos attached are not to scale. (Shoulda put a soda can or something for perspective.) Trust me, these were going to be tumble weeds which are BIG. Plus, the ground was dry. I was expecting the tool to break, but it never even broke a sweat. (Unlike me, pulling weeds in 90 plus degree weather.) BUY this, go pull weeds, and be happy with how nice your yard looks. My only caveat, is it’s a bit persnickety around rocks.
Nancy –
It works really well however I wish it was longer to really get the entire root ball up on ferns and hosta . I’ll have to wait and see if anything grows back after my initial removal.
Grandma –
I don¡¯t think I¡¯ve ever done anything so easily! It took about 10 seconds to get the weed out completely. It was not a dandelion! Some have said that¡¯s all it works on. I¡¯m old and it was very easy! Well worth the money!
LISA ROSE –
works but not worth the money
Dwight Johnson –
Durable
Dimetri –
Pros:
-4 opposable claw fingers that each move to grab the weed.
-1 piece design for the leveraging arm
-Lightweight
-more ergonomically made handle to reduce blisters
Cons:
-lack of depth reach, often cannot remove the full root
Only allowed 1 video. I have a 2nd video, 12 days later and the holes that were left behind are now filled with bright green fresh and new dandelion leaves.
Customer –
its good
Gail Austin –
It works okay but easier to just pull the weeds
TimG –
This is the best weed puller I’ve ever used. I have a home on a 3 acre yard that was once a farm field. Needless to say the weeds have been a continuous struggle, especially crabgrass, dallis grass, and goose grass. I have been doing chemical warfare on my yard since we moved in 3 years ago, and have Bermuda growing nicely on about 80% of the yard at this point. However, even with 2 applications of prodiamine pre-emergent every year, and numerous chemicals, some of the weeds are resilient and keep returning, especially in some spots. I bought this tool on the assumption that it might work, and it was worth a try. I’m not kidding, this thing works great. It removes the entire weed and the handy release button works great. I have filled several wheelbarrows full of weeds in my affected areas. A hint, you might want to also have some top soil just to fill in some of the larger holes it leaves as it rips out the roots and all. I don’t really do reviews, but i thought the manufacturer would like to know that I am impressed so far. I’ve used it many times and it is holding up well so far.
Kindle Customer –
Does what it says it will do.
Dave B –
Its a great tool. I had one before this for years. It could be improved a little if it had a wider base blade.. maybe but those are hard to find. I’ve seen review videos that rate this highly say a few others can do as well or better with a wider scooplike blade, but I couldn’t find any available to get at a decent quality this time around.?
One note, don’t leave these outside in the rain. Long term thats what killed my old one. Theres a metal spine inside the fiberglass handle that eventually rusted to the point where the handle bent over. After ya few summers of heavy use the foot lever can break. But we’re talking use in compacted rocky ground and far beyond what I would expect of a tool. I shaped some steel plates to go on either side and bolted them using the stock holes, and went on to another several years of use.?
So this will definitely work on weeds better than most tools. Even when abused it will last for years and can be repaired to last even longer.?
Great tool.
Oh yea if you loosen the roots with a slight motion. Reposition and then pull the bigger weeds it? will remove a lot less soil.?
marianne –
I’m 77 and this helps me weed without breaking my back!
Greg –
If you have a bad back and bending over is out of the question for you then this tool is great. We have a garden bed infested with thistle type weeds as well as mint. I normally get on my hands and knees and spend hours manually pulling and digging them all up, and after a while my back starts to really hurt. I bought this tool hoping I would be able to use it to weed that whole bed, but unfortunately its just not feasible for projects or areas with that many weeds. It takes too long to center the weed in the claws, and often time it seems as if the thistle type weed stems are too thin for the tool to grab, as it only grabs the dirt around it and leaves the plant in. So for that purpose of weeding a large densily packed area of weeds it does not seem helpful unless you don’t have plans for the next couple of days. For weeds here and there around the lawn it is a good tool. My only complaint about it is the amount of soil and grass it tends to pick up with the weed. I really wanted to love it, but as a 32 yo who’s back isn’t great, but is healthy enough to bend for short periods, I’d call it a frivolous purchase. Still giving it 4 stars because it does what it is supposed to for the right consumer.
Joe Sloppy –
Works great at pulling weeds, but built quality is super cheap. The tolerances on the slider that control the eject function are loose enough that you’ll pinch the webbing on your hand painfully now and then. It also just flops around unless you keep your hand on it at all times.

Need some weeds? Please, come to my home and take all you need or want because my lawn is 98% weeds. I try to stay on top of the problem with a kneeling pad, a hand-held weeder and some elbow grease…but it just persists and I get discouraged. Then the weeds have a rave of an orgy and there’s even MORE. Fertilizer doesn’t make a dent. The weeds just laugh and somehow get BIGGER AND STRONGER. Time for the big gun. I caved and bought this as a last resort. When it arrived, I beelined it out the door and read my sea of weeds their last rights. Then I read the instructions and prepared for WAR.
Here’s how it went down…the first victim’s execution went quite well. So well in fact, I nearly cried!! Weeping over an invasive species seems a bit dramatic but remember… 98% coverage here, people!!!
After my tears of joy evaporated in the warm July evening, I started plucking away. I think I cleared about 15% in about 30 minutes. This guy is pretty effective!
BUT…
He’s not perfect. Each weed removal leaves a pretty sizeable hole in its wake. My concern is…will the remaining weeds retaliate and plug the hole up with need weed seed? NOOOOOOOOO!!!
Also, there have been a few passes in which this weeder is unsuccessful in removing the entire root – which, if you have ever tried to rid a weed without removing the entire root – which will result in weed reincarnation. IT WILL (PROBABLY) COME BACK!
To be fair, the weeder has also remove its fair share of WHOLE weeds, root and all. Kind of a crap shoot. The moral of the story though is this: if you have weeds, this is a must buy. It will save your back, your lawn, and whatever’s left of your sanity.

This is the best weeding tool I¡¯ve ever had. I love it!

This makes removing weeds SO much easier. Can’t recommend this enough. Used it only once so far, and I used it for about 90 minutes. I filled up a wheelbarrow full of weeds and their surprisingly large root systems that were pulled up with this tool.
LERDH42 –
Came fast and in good condition. Works well on crab grass!! No assembly. My only disappointment is that the weed doesn’t come out of the tool. I have to turn the tool over and pull it out of the tool.
Alison –
I was not impressed with this initially. But then I realized it was operator error. Pay attention to the directions and you’ll be golden. The only complaint is that it struggles to pull up larger roots. Also, it occasionally snaps roots in half rather than pulling them up. Great for small to medium size weeds though!! The price IS a bit up there though given its limitations.
Smitty –
Good tool but digging weeds is still hard work.
Desiree –
Takes awhile to get the hang of it. Wear good shoes not sandals. When you do get the hang it pops the weeds out pretty easy.
Tong tang –
Good tool easy to use like it
R A Burnett –
As far as functionality, I would give this 5 stars. This works way better than any other tool I have ever used or tried. Only reason for 4 stars is the connection between the metal portion of the tool and the bamboo shaft could be better – I’m not sure how long that connection will last. The metal shaft might be a better option, but I haven’t tried that version.
Tommy post –
This weed remover tool looks and does feel good while using it. But just one day of normal use, part of the metal claw broke clean off.
Update:
Customer support and response was good. A new product will be shipped. I believe this can be a great product, fingers crossed that material quality is better the 2nd time around.

My partner and I both love using this tool¡ªit’s actually fun to use. Once you start pulling weeds, it’s hard to stop. There¡¯s something weirdly satisfying about yanking those stubborn dandelions out root and all.
Pros:
Very easy to use: The design is intuitive and user-friendly.
Satisfying results: Great for big, deep-rooted weeds like dandelions and even clumps of foxtail grass (which I was trying to remove for my dog’s safety).
Cleaner and safer: You don’t have to touch the weeds, and it’s a great chemical-free alternative.
Great for couples: Both of us enjoyed using it¡ªit became a bit of a game!
Cons & Considerations:
Works best in soft or moist soil: In hard, dry ground (like most of my yard), even stomping hard on the foot pedal didn¡¯t help the claws dig in properly. It will still do it, just takes a bit of extra work, and maybe multiple tries with the claws.
Less effective on small weeds: It¡¯s really built for larger, tap-rooted plants¡ªdon¡¯t expect it to tackle everything.
Not truly “no-bend”: I’m 5’1″, and after a while I started feeling back strain. The handle could stand to be longer or adjustable.
Durability is questionable: Ours broke after a week¡ªone of the claws stopped retracting. We did get it exchanged, and the new one is holding up so far, but it¡¯s worth noting that it might not withstand heavy or prolonged use.
Overall;
This is a really cool tool that works best as a complement to your weeding routine¡ªnot a one-size-fits-all solution. It¡¯s especially helpful for larger weeds in softer soil, and makes weeding kind of addictive (in a good way). Just don¡¯t expect it to tackle everything or last forever.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Never tried others but hand held items
gregory textor –
Be careful with it as it appears to be made of pot metal.
Wizzo –
I love this thing, got rid of my dandelions
Krissie Brusso –
Product works great when you center it on the weed but sometimes doesn¡¯t grip. One issue I found in our yard is rocks get in between the slots, so have to clean frequently.
Tami Lasher –
Pulls my weeds out!! Its easy to handle. Your hands still get dirty when you have to remove the weed,? lol. Its sturdy and feels like it willlast!!
Kristyn Coffel –
Works as expected! A little misleading in that you still have to bend over quite a bit when weeding but overall much less than normal. At 5’8″, I do wish the handle was a bit longer as I do need to bend slightly when tilting which puts some slight strain on the lower back.
We have an abundance of crab grass in our flower beds this year, and this has helped substantially. It’s not too heavy and the metal seems durable. Hopefully we will have it for years to come.
Overall, is buy again and would recommend for the average weeding needs.
Christyn –
Works perfectly, does pull out a decent dirt clump but that’s expected
Jan –
In the initial use the tool does a good job of pulling weed roots and all. The soil was about three days from a rain. I have not tried it in dry soil. It does not have a release to let the extracted weed drop. It is necessary to manually remove the small clump from the grip of the tool. Will be excellent for maintenance but a bit slow for a bed that has gotten out of control.

Works great but will create holes so you need dirt to cover.

It works as advertised. Strange, this was it came in a massive box for such a thin, simple item.
Georgia Handy –
Works good easy to use

Works like a charm!
Pull strength could be better, afraid I’m going to brake the handle
N Shafer –
Great product. Works exactly as advertised. Easiest way to physically pull weeds. Also got one for my elderly mother.

It is a well made product. Unfortunately I had to return because I wanted it to pull weeds coming up between small rocks. It does not work because the lever won’t go down on the pebbles. If you are using it only in the grass and dirt it should work well. Doesn’t work well on small weeds either only large ones in the ground.
nealji –
I wish it’s claws were a little deeper. Is also hard to be accurate with it. And, it does a decent job.
Patti –
I¡¯ve heard so much about this weeding tool I finally bought one. It¡¯s easy to use and saves me from constantly trying to pull out the crop of dandelions that like to grow in my flower garden. Great for medium to large weeds, not so much for the small stuff. Much easier on your back and knees!
Michelle Kim –
This weed puller tool gets the job done, but it¡¯s a bit hit-or-miss with precision. I often yank out extra grass or accidentally snap some weeds, which can be frustrating.
That said, when it wraps correctly around the weeds, it works really well and makes pulling them out much easier than bending over and doing it by hand. The tool is sturdy and comfortable to use, so once you get the hang of it, it¡¯s a solid addition to your garden toolkit.
?? Tip: Take your time and position it carefully around the weeds for best results.
Verdict: Effective for weed removal, but requires patience and proper positioning.

Its good for smaller weeds but larger more spread out weeds, it can’t handle
Crinnaj –
Fun to use:
Weeding has become an addiction with this tool. Only problem is the screw is too small and becomes loose. This happened after first couple uses. Tightened it and happened again. Feels such high quality but the tiniest part causes problems. We did drill a larger screw to hold. Hope it holds.?
Steven H –
Works okay on some types of weeds. Some of the weeds you try pulling out, you will hear a snap or pop as the top of the weed pops of the root (which I assume lets the weed grow back), and some of them will pull out cleanly. Works better on weeds with shallow roots. I have some monster weeds in my yard since its less suburban yard, and more field grass than sod, and the larger weeds or with bigger root systems it doesn’t work as well on. Regardless of whether it pops the entire weed out or not, it will leave some divots in your yard from using it.

Daniel –
Very happy with the weeded, I most cases it pulls the roots clean out of the ground. Used it a few times and I¡¯m ready seeing significant reduction in dandelions. Only downside is it leaves holes in the lawn that need to be filled with top soil and grass which is a good thing. I¡¯m very happy with the tool
Wendy Jacobson –
Pretty handy tool for digging dandelions, but I’m not sure it’s getting all the root. I’ll keep practicing and learning!
Ma –
It works for most weeds not too small that you have to do by hand because it takes out a big chunk of dirt. For the too big you will need a bigger tool to dig in. I had a couple of those!! But everything else works wonderful! I also like the fact that I can push out the weed without touching it. I recommend this product l.
Customer –
Does what it is designed to do
Customer –
Works as advertised except difficult to remove larger dandelions and thistle consistently. The unit relies on you centering the device over the weed to pull them and some taller weeds just crush down instead of extracting. Works well on small weeds. Another issue is that it is taking a large clump of dirt or mulch out with each stroke, causing me to clean the head out after each use. Perfect for someone with a bad back who maintains their garden and flower beds with loose ground routinely, but not older growth. Product should come with a large apron as you definitely need one when collecting the weeds efficiently.

Very easy to assemble and use. Place over weed, press down on lever and voila weed extracted. Lever on handle allows you to push weed out. Have been using constantly.
NC –
It really works, no bending!!
Ethan –
Easy to use and really like the long handle but can make the handle shorter. I can’t get on my knees anymore so the long length is great for me. I used it the first day I received it and it works great.
Customer –
This works well to get up the weeds but don¡¯t use when the soil is wet because it¡¯s hard to dislodge the weeds/soil from the weeder.
The Gallonman –
It¡¯s tools like this that make me think ¡°these dang kids got it too easy!¡± lol I didn¡¯t realize I turned old until I started telling my kids how I used to have to be on my hands and knees pulling weeds out with my hands and now this makes everything easy.
It¡¯s kind of fun to not only pull them out but try to launch them into the garbage can. I turned it into a game with my son to make working in the yard fun and it definitely makes it go by faster and protects your hands.

Only tried it on Dandelions so far.

I hesitated to purchase this because of the price, so I purchased an extended warranty because so many things are so easily broken or don’t function as stated. Anyway, for the most part, it does make pulling weeds in my yard easier than hand-weeding the larger weeds. Can’t say much for the smaller, younger weeds, but it’s still easier on the hands and back. At my age, 77, I can use all the help I can get.
Gracie –
Works especially well on dandelion weeds.
Amy –
I wish I had discovered this years ago! We get really spikey weeds that are painful to pull, even with gardening gloves and this thing pulls them up by the roots without having to touch them. I love that I can weed standing up too! It actually makes weeding fun! Worth every penny.
Katherine Toso –
It works great, but only on bigger weeds like dandelions.
B. Myers –
This thing works well, perhaps too well as it rips a massive hole out of the ground.
Robert C. –
Works as advertised, easy to use .
Why did you pick this product vs others?:
Looks like it would work
Weenie –
Its ok. Only works on easy weeds
Wendy Bradfield-Smith –
I’ve gone through several weed pulling devices and I’ve broken them all, even ones with steel shafts. I was skeptical about this one because the long handle is bamboo. No worries about the bamboo handle breaking: This works because the bottom part of the weed puller goes into the ground and uses lever action to grab the weed and pull it out. Follow the directions and you’ll be very pleased. My only problem is trying to get hold of weeds growing in the middle of my ornamental plantings.
Stanley Y. Tamura –
Works well and easy to use.
Sherline –
The item is fine I just have way too much many rocks so I can¡¯t use it. I can¡¯t send back because someone in my house destroyed the box. It¡¯s gonna cost $25 for a new box so that¡¯s not happening. Guess I¡¯m stuck with it even though I can¡¯t use it.
Customer –
Works well, prongs are a bit bulkier than they need to be though.
Cinjin –
This worked only if I could center it on top of the weed and it¡¯s a slightly heavy piece to lug around. But it definitely works.
Veronica P. –
I like it, it gets the weed out.
Vernon Gillispie Jr. –
Loved it for 3 years then it broke. Guess I will have to get a new handle.
Kathleen –
Not quite what I expected , but it works as it was described. Works best on weeds like dandelions
customer –
Very sturdy and works great on dandelions in my yard. The only thing au wish it had was some type of ejection mechanism so I didn¡¯t have to manually pull the weed out of the claw
d & d –
Digger tongs could be longer as they don’t get all the way to the roots. Other than that, the are ver6y sturdy and I don’t have to bend over when I can get the root out
Tim K. –
very helpful to pull weeds and save your back. wish it would get the roots more. but nothing else does a better job . i would recommend this
Customer –
Love this thing and it makes weed pulling so much easier, just wish taking weeds off of it was smoother
Dan Schonman –
Works
Marvelous –
It works but I wish it had claws that went deeper into the ground for plants w very strong roots
Jo –
Some roots just too deep and break off, but hand pulling wouldn¡¯t be any better. Great for most weeds like crab grass etc
Smitty –
Great for pulling dandelion and other weeds with a tap root and crabgrass Took a couple tries to get it right after that it was easy
Ken S. –
Is helpful with small to medium sized weeds, but not large weeds. Does not take out the entire root. Perhaps longer blades would be helpful. With that said, it does save on constant bending or kneeling. Easy to use with minimal effort. I have found it helpful, but not perfect.
Elena Torres –
The weed puller works very good. I no longer have to get on knee to remove weeds – excellent work!
soundmb –
This weeder works well and removes weeds easily. Good quality structure. Easy to use. Helps protect my back so dont have to bend over while weeding.
Michael Gillett-Chambers –
I fell in love with Fiscars and purchased many of their tools. This tool is very effective in pulling out large clumps of grass which are often difficult to get out in one piece. Just ensure the ground is soft and enjoy.
Kindle Customer –
The slider to pop the weeds off makes this a fantastic upgrade from similar seeders without the pop off feature.
Andrew D. Cohen –
Works well for areas where the ground is not dried and hard as a rock. That is the ground must be moist and soft otherwise it will break. Also the weed has to be larger than 5¡± or it will simply be too small to easily grab.
PRG –
This product is good. Even my neighbor in our place or roses it when the daw how easy it is to use this on pulong weeds.
Customer –
Love this gadget.
I can keep our beds weed free without my old ankles, knees, and hips complaining for 3 days. Pulls most weeds with roots intact.
Pietro Spicci Torchio –
If you have crab grass and you are not getting any younger, you want this product.
Effortless to use
Deb Mac –
This thing is just amazing. I love using it. So easy. No bending over. Worth every penny.

I found these difficult to use. They only pull some weeds and not all.

Weed removal:
It does the job of removing the weed without being too labor intensive. It makes the job feel rewarding sort of like power washing.?
Size:
I am 5’6” and find this tool to be too short. I find myself bending forward especially to keep the weed from falling off as the slide is placed very low. I would skip this if you are taller and get a longer model.?
katie –
Loved this! Made clearing the weeds out of my garden so much easier and was definitely a lot kinder for my back.?
Jeffrey Williams –
This weeder works well. It does save your back and it¡¯s pretty good at getting weeds out. It doesn¡¯t work great on small narrow weeds or very large weeds that have very deep roots (more than 6-8¡± into the ground). I noticed in other people¡¯s reviews that some people talked about the instructions being confusing but I didn¡¯t think that. They are literally printed on the tool. The product claims it has a ¡°new, lighter design¡± but it¡¯s super light. I wonder if previous versions we built to be more durable but that is just a guess.
Mojo –
When I bought this, I was hesitant about whether it would work or not. On my rural acreage, I have quite a few varieties of weeds¡a few of which are annoying. But though I could use weed killer, I¡¯d also end up with spots all over my yard.
I went out today, to tackle some 5-8¡± clover weeds, which have a nasty, deep root system. I was blown away by how easy the tool made pulling them, and once I got into a rhythm, I pulled over a hundred in under an hour¡and no bending!
Very satisfied, and hopefully the tool lasts a long time!
Richard –
very good quality and easy to use
Allison Reed –
The long handle is wonderful. Teeth work great to remove most weeds. The tool is slightly flimsy when applying heavy pressure. I would definitely buy it again in spite of this.
phil –
It gets weeds out, big and small, anything less than a small bush. The only downside is that it takes a pretty good chunk of dirt out with the weed. It’s a lot quicker than going by hand, so it’s a keeper for me.
Molly Wagner –
This tool is incredible. It works best after a rain. I use it for pulling crab grass. If you center it on the crab grass and use it right, it will pull up the entire clump. I¡¯m on my second one and would buy it again. I am 79 years old.

My husband purchased this. He loves it!
David –
While the aluminium and plastic make it feel a little flimsy, the steel forks allowed it to make easy work quickly on over an acre of weed-infested lawn.
Customer –
I initially bought this to pull up Wisteria and for that purpose the clamping force of the jaws is just no sufficient to pull any amount of the root systems out. However, I have had a pervasive nutsedge infestation in my front yard that was withstood triclopyr, sulfentrazone, and glyphosate this does a great job tearing up the deep tubers when the ground is moist after rain. Its tedious, but its the only time I’ve seen progress and I don’t need to handle any herbicides.
Buy this for Nutsedge and other weeds with shallower root systems!
Kelly D –
I got one of these at a big box store. This is a very good product, however it has 1 flaw. The part you press down with your foot is made out of plastic, and can break if you try to pull something much larger than a weed, like a small tree or something.
Can you make a version where that part is made out of metal? A pro version. That would make this tool amazing. You would be able to pull up small tress as well. The foot piece will break before the rest of tool struggles if trying to do this.
If you are only pulling weeds, this tool is perfect, and I would highly recommend it for this use.
